The Wolf.


As a child, the elders saw in him, the traits of the Wolf. The way he watched, the way he sensed all around him, the way he ran, the way he was protective, the way he was loyal.

The elders believed that he possessed within him, a Wolf spirit. They honored the spirit by naming him for the Wolf.

Now he with the spirit of the Wolf, crouched down just inside the tree line from the back yard of the house that he had been watching all these months.

He had waited for the opportune time to execute the mission, and it had come. Everything planned, everything rehearsed, everything timed.

 

Now with the pebbles in his hand, he began to bring forth the Wolf spirit up from his heart and into his entire being. He then took one of the pebbles in his other hand and tossed it at the house, striking it on the back door. 

 

 

He was about to do battle.
